Welcome to the new year!!
A warm welcome to our new Year 12 who joined us this week to form a new Sixth Form community with our returning Year 13. Everyone is looking forward to the year ahead with ambition and aspiration.
A Level and GCSE Results Days
Huge congratulations to all those who achieved outstanding results on the 17th August. The day was a great reflection and reward for all the hard work, commitment and effort shown by Clevedon's Sixth Form academic talent over the past two years. We would like to wish you all the very best in your continuing journey, whether that be to university, training, employment or wider life experiences.
We would also like to say a huge well done to those receiving their GCSE results on the 24th August, many of whom will be joining Clevedon's Sixth Form in the new academic year.

Year 13 Leavers Ball
The 5th July saw a fitting finale to Year 13's time at Clevedon with their Breakfast and Ball at Clevedon Hall. The morning was spent filling stomachs with bacon butties and sauage sandwiches ready for the evening's festivities, a trip down memory lane with a babe photo quiz and traditional Leavers' Awards.
At 6pm students, parents and staff reconvened at the beautiful setting of Clevedon Hall for a champagne reception. Mr Wells addressed the guests before staff and students continued the evening with a delicious 3 course meal and subsequent play list on the dance floor courtesy of Mr Worland. It was a wonderful and unforgettable event for which staff and students alike will look back with fond memories.

Year 13's Final Day
It has been an emotional day as our amazing year 13 have shared their final day of compulsory education with the Sixth Form Team and wider school community. Decked in a Festival Dress theme students enjoyed glorious sunshine with a BBQ, ice creams and their beloved Hector. Next term with be strangely quiet without these fantastic individuals but we look forward to celebrating again at the Year 13 Leavers Breakfast and Ball on the 5th July.

Year 12 vs Year 13 Gig Rowing Challenge
After the success of last term’s gig rowing at Marine Lake
(Wednesday pm activity) Clevedon Sixth Form has arrange 4 further sessions this term
which will hopefully culminate in a race between a Year 12 and Year 13 crew
from Clevedon Pier in the final week of term – just before Year 13 leave us.
Clevedon Gig Club have kindly agreed to train two crews (one
Year 12 and one Year 13) during the next three Wednesday afternoons in Bristol
docks. Then, on the final Wednesday or Thursday of the last week
of term (depending on tide times), we will row from Clevedon Pier in a race to
see which crew are the boldest, bravest and strongest. Every sixth former will
be invited to come along to watch this finale and cheer on their respective
crew from the pier. It should add to the end of term celebrations for year13.
If you would be interested in training as part of these
crews please sign up.
