Clevedon School Inter-House Photography Competition 2017 - 6th Form Success
6th Form English Speaking Board (ESB) Success!
Students
returning from half term at Clevedon School rose to their first examination
challenge with the English Speaking Board's Advanced Certificate in Spoken
English, Grade 8. Eleven students from Years 12 and 13 spoke under examination
conditions about such diverse topics such as human trafficking; what is art and
what does quality education truly mean as represented by Sustainable
Development Goal 4. The students had been preparing for their examination for
many months, researching topics and encouraging each other.
Mrs Jo Carrington, Head of English at Clevedon School, said she was so proud of each and every student. They all overcame nerves at the start of the day and rose to the challenge, debating and discussing at a high level and supporting each other through an intense day of presentation and questioning.
